Superb small chest of drawers / writing desk / secretaire in mahogany from the 18th century called Kneehole desk from the George III period
Indeed, these small pieces of furniture are called Knee Hole desk since they have a small door in the center which reveals a storage space.
Very nice medallion on the door typical of Georgian piece. The door has its key which works.
The top is decorated with a lemon inlay and also has three zippers. Two glass rests and a writing table.
Very nice proportions and small model.
Original handles and superb flame in the drawers.
Small compact piece of furniture which offers a lot of possibilities.
