This sophisticated set of six Brutalist place holders were realized in France, circa 1970. They feature tapered rectangular bodies with dappled faceted ends that connect at a perpendicular angle to a vertical spear of the same form. Three sculptural tapered forms, including one with a curvilinear detail- all with beveled cubic tops- extend upwards to secure the place card. With their highly unusual, idiosyncratic Brutalist aesthetic and beautiful craftsmanship, these place holders promise to add more than a touch of refinement to any table setting. They are in excellent vintage condition.
