Vintage Design
Particular pair of bedside tables, produced for Magis for the late 70s.
Design Lucci Orlandini, as reported by the brand on the bottom of the plan.
The model of these tables is called trio precisely because they were designed to perform three functions according to the needs:
– Table/bedside table while keeping the horizontal plane
– Servomuto by rotating the plane vertically
– Leggio if the plan is left inclined
By turning the black crank at the apex of the vertical tubular you can raise or slightly lower the table (one of the two tables no longer rises, the lift mechanism is broken and remains fixed at 66 cm).
The crank on the horizontal tubular allows you to rotate the top.
The two floors have a flat surface frontally, on the back there are geometric sects, only one of the two has a tray that becomes a storage/emptied when using in the service mode.
The cylinders that come out serve instead to trigger the legging mode, in fact pushing them forward will allow the book to support.
There are signs of wear, and burns on the plane.
