This large metal mid-century sculpture is unsigned, but presumed to have been made in Canada in approximately 1965 in a Brutalist style. The sculpture is done entirely of scrap metal, with some pipe, metal slugs and chain and configured into a standing figure with chained hands. The chains can be moved, but given the pitch fork arms, it is believed they were intended to be strung as presented in the photos. The heavy round base is marked “Ann”, which may either be the artist’s signature, or the title of the piece.
