Solid and plated mahogany dressing table, the interior of which is dark of a mercury mirror and a white carrare marble in a bowl, slightly veined anthracite gray.
This piece of furniture is composed on each side of two drawers with double facade – thus making it possible to obtain a greater depth – and in the center of a wider and less deep drawer. These elements are equipped with locks in perfect working order, accompanied by their keys, and garnished with relief net entrances, all original.
In the upper part, a key activates a double hooked lock also authentic allowing the closing of the top. The latter is composed of molded tab cut of a thin throat at the ridge.
This flap is equipped with two brass hinges and is kept in the open position using two brass compass called “on his knee”.
The whole rests on four solid mahogany feet, in quarter rounds in the upper part and each garnished with five grooves. This continuous base and spindle, with arrested grooves, and ends with brass hooves.
This dressing table can be in the middle because visible in all its faces.
