A framed FC Lewis Fox Hunting print. This piece was originally printed in 1835. It features a group of English men in red coats at the infamous Quorn Fox Hunt in England. The scene takes place in an open green field, with riders on horseback. They wear red coats and black formal top hats. Among them are a pack of hunting dogs sniffing the trail for Fox. The sky behind the riders is overcast and gray. The print is professionally framed in a dark brown wood frame. A thick dark green mat surrounds the print and plays off the moody tones. The back features a hanging wire. This would be a great addition to a collection of traditional English hunting scenes. Or it would be a great start to one!
