Beautiful oversized lounge chair in brutalist style. Designed by Jens Juul Eilersen for N. Eilersen and made in the 1970’s. Eilersen is one of the storied Danish manufacturers that has been around since 1895 and is still in existence. This beautiful chair was known as model Carlton and is made from a very heavy gauge suede that has lots of noble patina and wear in all the right places but no rips or tears. The ball shaped legs are made from beech wood. Both the seat and the backrest is down filled and the chairs is just super comfortable. The scale of the chair is more up to par with modern furniture. Overall very good condition.
