Rare and sought after sofa attributed to Danish Designer, Henning Kjaernulf made from quarter-sawn white oak, Hand carved in brutalist style seeking inspiration from art & crafts and even Jacobean styles. Kjaernulf’s style is very unique and instantly recognizable and was quite popular in Denmark during the very late 1960’s and up through the 1970’s. The furniture and the Designer has come to enjoy iconic status and the furniture is strongly coming back into vogue. The scale is generous and the furniture is known for its great ergonomics and comfort. The cushions are finished in traditional Scandinavian woven stripe fabric in rich earth tones of olive and tan and the existing padding and original fabric remains in clean and still usable condition.
