Newness can be unsettling. And new beginnings also signal the end of something. The White Ego sideboard is a blank canvas representing possibilities as well as uncertainty. DRAMA’s first piece is a purposely unfinished functional sculpture, conceived as a blank canvas, a platform for new thoughts, new perspectives.

Distinguished with a European Product Design Award, the White Ego sideboard is more than just its appearance. Boasting bold design features with great emphasis on details, this is a sculptural piece worthy of being integrated in any art collection.

Composed of twelve elements which are grouped and arranged in no particular order, it is open for reinterpretation and waiting for a conclusion. The front mesh consists of the 128 single lines forming the piece, as if laid flat on a two dimensional plane, thus summarising the artist’s work.

This piece belongs to the White Edition Series, a limited edition of 12 pieces designed by Drama for October Gallery, entirely made in Portugal and manufactured in an artisanal way, in which every step of the process is carefully executed. This collectible design piece is handmade-to-order and can be customized in terms of scale, materials or finishes. This piece includes a certificate of authenticity signed by the artist.
