The ‘Monolithic’ storage unit was initially designed for the designer James Stickley himself as a storage unit and work bench for his home studio. It is a stunning graphic minimal piece.
The piece is designed to be a monolithic block with a simple yet powerful silhouette. Designed to be able to be placed against a wall or as a room divider in the centre of a room. The cabinet is constructed out of MDF and then has been stained using a coloured linseed oil. The process gives a beautiful patina like effect to the surface.
Here is it shown as a workshop storage/work unit but on request, the internal layout can be custom fitted with shelves to suit your own needs for storage or even hanging rails for clothes (This will affect the price). This unit would work for living, kitchen, bedroom or office.
The bi-fold doors completely fold back into the unit in order to maximise work space.
Colour and size can also amend on request.
