2 pieces of Berlage stools: the Berlage stool or the “museum stool”. Since the opening of the Gemeentemuseum – now Kunstmuseum – in The Hague in 1935 the Berlage Kruk is used in the museum. A light, handy stool made of lacquered oak. The seat has a slight slope and is made of black -stained plywood. To a design by Municipal Building Master H.H. van Zeggeren and head of the central workshops H.G. Schouten. The Berlage stools were then occasionally reproduced in small numbers and were (or were) for sale. Dating around the turn of the century and are – with light traces of use.Dimensions: 46.5 high, 34 deep, 34 wide cm
