King. First thought as a bedside table – a nightstand – that stays by ones bed and sleeps with one when the night comes, the known-to-everyone lyrics come instantly to mind. Taking a step further, stand by me stands by itself and can stand by one in any room. Shaped by a twisted juxtaposition of two independent drawers one above the other, the side table conveys an idea of movement and of unexpected freeform geometry. Yet stand by me does not spin and is strongly anchored on its elegant pink copper round metal feet. One definitely can rely on it.
