Mr. Jackson is renowned among the Asian Art World for his efforts in restoration, preservation and collecting of Asian Antiquities, primarily tansu. The authenticity, integrity and differentiation of his pieces are well documented, highly respected, and treasured among art collectors world-wide.

It beautifully illustrates the detailed hand-carved symbolic motifs traditional to Asian Design. It was originally used for tea ceremonies, but the utility of these items also served as a mobile storage unit for clothing, documents, and valuables. This is a pristine Tea Caddy made of Elm Wood that has been lacquered to enhance a natural visible grain giving the veneer depth and character.
