A wonderful Anglo-Indian Rosewood Campaign Bookcase with mirrored doors made in three section for ease of travel. Campaign furniture was designed by the British during their various campaign in the 19th century and were meant to be easily taken apart and travelled with. Profusely carved with foliate design. Each drawer with typical recessed campaign type brass pulls. Top section has cleverly disguised pull out drawer. The bookcase is beautifully raised on turned legs giving it a very graceful appearance. A definite show stopper in a warm rich patina.
