Four striking brutalist bronze sculptures of heads, incredibly well executed by a talented and likely well trained hand but are unsigned by the artist. All are very heavy bronze casting, they were found in a gunny sack walled up in an early 20th century house in Toronto Canada during renovations in the 1970’s. Mysterious heads that could date back to a much earlier time with their style of medieval gargoyle pained expressions symbolic of alchemy artistry in their presentation, raw and unique.
One head is solid bronze and has 4 faces around it with a bolt at the bottom of head, measures 5.25″ x 5″ x 4.25″. The other three heads are hollow and are approximately 6 inches long by 3 inches wide by 4 inches deep.
