This so called lyre secretaire is the crowning of all European furniture Art of the Biedermeier period. Paw-feet and batons from solid beechwood, finely carved and gilded. Internal part architectural formed and mirrored. Columns with capitals and bases. (L-Sam-133). Wear consistent with age and use.
