Vintage Design
Designed by Harry Bertoia, he once said about his design that the main material was “air”. The organic form of the Diamond Chair is one of the absolute interior design classics – in the highest quality and absolute timelessness.
The couple is incredibly beautiful and very well aged for their +40/50 years. It has black feet and a white top: a super chic contrast, especially in the combination with the black seat cushion.
The cover is still beautiful in shape and he owes this to his good provenance: the couple comes from a wealthy, Hamburg bookbinder/printer family. There, the Diamond Chairs were mainly decorating in the Eimsbüttler Wohnloft/Penthouse of the founding family.
