Fish-form wind chime/bell designed by architect, Paolo Soleri for Arconsanti (the city he designed and built in Arizona in 1970).
Composed of a chain suspending a clay disc above seven graduated/nesting cupped bells with hand-incised decorations and multi-color pigmented, triangular-form fin.
Late 1970s/early 1980s production branded with the Arconsanti cypher and retaining the vintage studio tag.
Excellent, vintage condition with only minor shelf wear consistent with age present (this example was never used outdoors – it was part of a collection of old stock from an antique retailer).
Measures:
Height to top of hook just above the clay disc: 12.75″
Height to top of chain: 14.5″
Diameter: 3.38″
