This West Indies center table has an English influence. This piece is published in ” West Indian Antique Furniture of the Lesser Antilles 1740-1940″ written by Philip Sturm on page 115. This solid mahogany table with strong turned stack rings is either from Barbados or Jamaica. The tripod sabre legs have a broken reeded top ending the spur in the center of the leg. The original brass paw casters were missing the wheels which we added back.
This solid mahogany tilt-top table has a thumb nail molded edge and has all the original hardware.
