A stunning set of six Masonic throne armchairs in oak. Carved triangular pediments with broad back panels and carved finials over a dished seat. Each armrest features two quatrefoil motifs with floral caps to the ends. All chairs are rich in colour with great patina and a commanding presence at over 5.5′ tall. The set came from a Freemasons chapter lodge in Dudley where the members had been meeting for centuries. The price is for a set of six chairs.
English, West Midlands. Circa 1880.
