We are delighted to offer for sale this very rare fully restored Victorian Chesterfield brown leather office desk chair with Pollard oak frame and original horse hair padding. This is a very important and substantial chair, it has been fully restored to include having the leather stripped back to the base colour, its then been hand dyed six times, antiqued, sealed and waxed down, all the timber has been lightly washed back and French polished This chair has been on a journey and it is a true investment piece, ready to serve the new owner for decades to come. Usually, I wouldn’t take a piece like this through such an expensive process however the pollard oak is so sublime and rare it warranted the treatment, it is simply put the finest chair of its type on the market anywhere in the world today you can buy.
