Vintage Design
Super rare and highly collectable, circa 1830 Italian Venetian, fully restored swivel armchair What a find! I have never seen another carved with the Dolphin arms like this, its reminiscent of the Pauley CIE Etc Grotto pieces which sell for silly figures. The frame is all walnut, the legs hand carved from top to bottom and in the form of Lion’s paws This chair has been fully restored, the base has been dismantled and rebuilt to make sure its flat and solid, the leather work is all new including the seat cushion which has Thomas Chippendale style floating buttons, the cushion is feather filled, over stuffed and super comfortable The chair does swivel but it’s nearly a 200 year old design so its not like a modern day system. There will be normal age and use related patina marks to the timber frame as you would expect Dimensions Height:- 92cm Width:- 61cm Depth:- 63cm Seat height:- 54cm
