Vintage Design
This pretty pair of waxed oak chairs is at the crossroads of design paths, between vernacular rustic and modernism. We appreciate the heat of the massive oak, the quality of execution of the assemblies, as well as the delicately rounded edges of these beautiful foundations. A previous owner used tapestry straps to build the seats. This intervention strengthens their bohemian side, chic and wabi sabi campaign.
The chairs are in solid oak, very nice. Upholstery straps are their seat. They are perfectly functional, the wood has a deep and authentic chandelier. They can possibly be retapped or left as is.
